Is it just me or has Madewell felt like it wasn’t for us for the last few seasons? If it’s just me, I get it. I could find somethings I really liked there but the majority of the items just didn’t suit me or my current taste. Everything felt like a reach to Gen Z and while I was sad to lose a staple brand, I thought okay maybe this is just getting older? So while I’ll always love Madewell I just started looking at it less and less.
But you guys…Madewell might be back. I don’t want to overstep here but I think they may be returning to us millennials. Now there are still some things I probably wouldn’t touch, but I could fill up a cart I couldn’t afford REAL FAST and it has been a minute since I’ve spent loads of imaginary money at Madewell. Case in point, this dress. I LOVE this dress. It feels like old Madewell in the best way. The fabric is high quality and the fit is so nice (runs big though!) I love the smocking and the puff sleeves — with just *enough* puff. It’s on sale right now at Madewell!Â

No, it’s not just you. I love madewell but haven’t found anything interesting for the past couple of seasons. This dress however is definitely the madewelll I like. I need to check out their website again!
I haven’t really been into madewell lately and I don’t know why. I’m usually a huge fan of their handbags and denim but haven’t really liked most of their clothing in awhile… especially the cuts of their shirts. Plus, the prices have been keeping me away as well, i think. but with this latest sale, I was eyeing their suede mary jane flats but ended up going with the woven target version and another dupe from H&M. Love the vintage perfect wide crops and the new suede handbags (but only if I can get a good sale price). That dress looks cute on you!
