If you are looking for a holiday look for parties or anything really for the month of December, look no further. This is the combination you’ve been looking for. I love a sweater and silk skirt combination, may it be a long skirt and cropped sweater or a mini skirt and oversized sweater. You can’t go wrong with this combination of textures, I’m telling you. I’ve worn this for family pictures before and if I’m in a pinch for an event, this is the look I reach for. I keep thinking it’ll go out of trend, but I think it’s becoming canon in my wardrobe.
This entire combination is from Quince! I have loved this silk skirt this fall (exclusively with sweaters, ironically enough) and it comes in a few different hues. I wanted to pick a hue that could work for both winter and spring and landed on this beige hue. Spring pending, but I think I’ve picked the right choice as it has been so versatile so far. I am in the large, size up if in between sizes only. Find it under $50 here!
(Side note, if you’d rather a longer silk skirt look, you can find that option here!)
This isn’t a sponsored post but I have been very excited to find Quince, as you can probably tell from my last few posts. I just find their sweaters to be on par with high quality pieces or even designer pieces from Nordstrom, but a lot less expensive. Every piece has lived up to my expectations and that’s a really high bar over here. This sweater is a classic one and also comes in lots of hues! I went with a beige, for more of a monochrome look with the skirt but I also support the black or navy as well! Find it here.
(and if you want an under $100 option, this cotton sweater from Quince would work well with this look too!)
