Hi friends! I did a try-on yesterday on Instagram with a few pieces from Nordstrom that would be perfect for Thanksgiving! See my picks below.
This has to be the most comfortable dress. I mean, it’s a sweater as a dress, can’t get better than that for Thanksgiving! If it’s cooler I’d pair it with black tights and tall boots.
I am in the large and I prefer this size for the length. It runs slightly relaxed, but a bit short. Under $100, find it here!
See the post with it fully styled here!
Okay you are going to have to trust me when I say this selfie does not do this dress justice at all. The colors of the dress are so pretty — muted navy, light purple, gold hues. It’s so pretty for fall / winter. You could easily pair it with brown or black boots, as well. She has options!
I am in the large. It runs a bit big for me but the length is nice in the large. Overall a medium would fit me better, so I would say it runs TTS.
I thought this dress had big 90s vibes. I feel like this would be extra cute with lace up boots (think Dr Martens) and a big denim jacket or a leather jacket. I will be trying this theory out shortly.
This dress is a bit lightweight, so keep that in mind. Not summer weight, but not super warm either. I am in the large and like this size! Not too tight at all. You can find it here.
Okay let’s talk about the jeans first! I wanted these jeans to be a bit more of a vibe but I think I will return. They do fit TTS and THey’re really cute! But they are so similar to a pair of jeans I already own so back they go. I also thought these were shiny studs but they are more like grommets, just FYI.
I am in the 29, perfect fit! Find the jeans here.
Okay I LOVE this top! This is from Farm Rio and I am obsessed with the 70s vibes of it all. It’s a slick, stretchy fabric with ruching at the side, but very comfortable.
I am in the large, fit is true to size, this one fits slightly looser but I’d rather some extra room ya know? You can find it in a few different patterns / colors here.
If you love the lace top look but want something a bit less tight and a bit more comfortable, this one is for you! This one is like a t-shrt, fits more relaxed as well. It fits looser, but it is more sheer so you can see a bra peek-a-booing out. This also comes in a black as well!
Here is another Thanksgiving / holiday dress! This is a velvet shirt dress and I am obsessed. Now this is the medium and I think we can all agree that if I’m going to wear this as a dress, I need the large. It’s a wee bit short. I could easily pair this with leggings and it could vibe, but I prefer a dress look.
WIth a size up I’d pair this with sheer black tights and chunky boots. A cute / edgy look but still comfortable for Thanksgiving! Find it here.
And if you are of the comfortable outfit on Thanksgiving look at this set! This is from Vuori — one of my favorite brrands that lasts and lasts. I have workout items from 3-4 years ago that I wear weekly and they still look good.
Anyways this zip up is so comfortable, it’s a nice fit with a looser bodice but the length isn’t too long. I am in the large, probably could have gone with the medium. Find the top here!
Love these joggers — they are the same material, a french terry and they’re slightly relaxed. I woudl say there a touch short but it’s fine. I am in the medium, fit is perfect! Find the joggers here.
This is one of my favorite finds this fall — and it’s on sale! I am in the medium, fit is slightly oversized. It is lightweight so it’s perfect for this ‘fall’ we are having right now. Find it on sale here!

Hi Kendi! How is the boob room in the shirt dress? I have large breasts and often button ups gap for me. Let me know- thanks!
