1 / The Striped Button Down
I am always on the fence with button downs and myself. I can lean very matronly looking in a button down so I have to make sure the fit is just right. I either need a very loose button down in an oversized fit or a very tailored, structured one. No in between. This one actually is so perfectly tailored and it has so much structure that it keeps its chic shape. The sleeves have this wide cuff that buttons, so you don’t have to cuff them or roll them, it’s already done. Button downs aren’t always my best look but this one gets a 5 star from me. 2 / The Kick Crop Jeans
For some reason this outfit reminded me of one I wore years ago, but I just couldn’t place specifically which one. I think it’s the jeans and the bootie mules. While this pair of jeans isn’t a skinny jean because of the kick crop, it is vaguely reminiscent of a skinny jean. The fit is pretty darn close and I don’t hate it. I know we are over skinny jeans rn but they’ll live forever in my memories and my heart. This pair of denim is a utility green and has the smallest little kick at the bottom. Very stretchy and extremely comfortable, I have to recommend. I am in the 30, fit is TTS! Find them on sale here!
3 / The Mules
I love this pair of shoes especially with a little bit of cropped jean. Not a capri, or anything crazy, but I like when you can see the whole mule and a bit of ankle to give context to the shoe. This pair of mules are so comfortable and of course, easy to slide on. I am in my typical size, fit is TTS! Find them here!
4 / The Bucket Tote
This bag is one of my favorites from Madewell — I have it in a tan as well. It’s just the easy bag to grab and toss literally everything into. But it feels updated from our typical tote bag as well. I love the black version for fall, it feels to be a bit of a thicker leather than my tan one too. I can put my laptop, notepad and everything else I need for the day in here, so it’s perfect for work. You can find it (on sale!) here!
