Hello friends! It’s already Friday so I am back with a few what I wore in the last week or so. I’m gettin a wee bit more fancy you guys, have you noticed? There’s even heels in this week’s post! I’m truly starting to feel like myself again and I’m getting excited to create content again as well. Thanks for hanging in there with me this year! Okay on to the outfit…
I am obsessed with this top from Anthro. It’s such a Kendi top, I just love a lace top and long sleeves in summer?? You minx! I’m going to be doing an Anthropologie try on Sunday on Instagram, but this top was an immediate wear. I am in the large and it fits slightly loose but I like this size for me as there is a full lining inside which is a bit more fitted. I would say if in between sizes, go up one size.
Find this top here!
My skirt is a Madewell skirt from last summer and I’ll be honest — I’ll give my steaming job a B+. It’s a bit wrinkled still and I didn’t realize it until today uploading these photos 🙂 They’ve brought back this skirt but in white this year, so I’ve linked a similar look skirt here and here under $100!
I wore this outfit to my grandmother’s 90th birthday last weekend! This dress is from & Other Stories about three years ago but I’ve never worn it. It was an also tried on but never the final option piece in my closet. I even tried to sell it in my resale shop but then I regretted it the minute I listed it, so I just kept it. Since it is obviously sold out, I’ve found a really pretty similar option from there! In fact, I kinda want this one too …because of course I do. 😉 Find the similar dress here!
Besides the tote, this whole outfit is about 3 years old from my dress to my shoes. Just goes to show that if you buy overly trendy pieces, they’ll eventually come into style. lol. I’ve linked similar platforms here.Â
Yes that’s right, you’ve seen this outfit before but I did wear it so it definitely belongs in this round up. I wore this to dinner with B and it was such a nice and comfortable outfit to wear. Abercrombie does have a nice handle on their linen pieces, very wearable and comfortable. I am in the large of the top but it runs generously.

I am in the large of the skirt, I’ve linked a similar here!
Another outfit of last season’s pieces, let’s see this top is Madewell from last fall, my shorts are from last summer but still in stock here! (I’m in the 30) However, my belt is new from Madewell and it’s a beaut. I’ll link it here — I bought the medium.
This is just a typical running errands day. I’ve been trying to get ready and honestly the heat has helped me. That may sound backwards but when it’s cold out and I can just toss on leggings and a sweatshirt, I don’t want to actually get dressed. So this summer has been nice because I’ve been reaching for older pieces I love and just generally trying to find my style again. I know I’ve been online since 09 sharing my style, but as a person I’ve ebbed and flowed. I think I’m coming back into my flow though and I’m feeling very excited about this.
I wore this to the Farmer’s Market last Saturday hence the tote bag and the Stanley hiding in the corner there. I don’t know if I actually felt cute in this while wearing it but it’s a cute selfie, I’ll admit. I love this retro-inspired tee, it’s super super soft so it actually feels like vintage cotton. I am in the large and it’s still fitted. Size up for a looser fit.
I am in the 30 of the shorts, the run TTS! The Gazelle’s run a bit wider / big, so go down one half size. Find my shorts here.
You’ve seen this outfit as well! But here it is as a selfie 🙂 These barrel jeans are growing on me (figuratively, of course). I am in the 30, fit is TTS!
And if you’re wondering why the double bags, I was trying to figure out which one I preferred for the outfit. The black madewell purse one me over.
I wore this outfit on a weekend night where we just ran out the door to grab a pizza. It’s been weirdly cool here this summer and so patios have become a high priority for our family. This outfit was perfect for a quick little dinner out — these shorts are so comfortable (I’m in the large) and the top is easily one of my favorite finds from Zara (also in the large.)
This purse is on sale at the Nordstrom sale for under $150! It’s quite roomy, way more than I was expecting to be honest. It’s a nice size and I like that it’s adjustable as a crossbody or shoulder bag. Find it here!
