I’ve been seeing  this darling little trend of the tie front tops all around. Sometimes, as a person with bigger boobs, I see things like this and think ‘well wouldn’t that be nice’ and I move on. Because how in the world is that suppose to work for me? But every once in a while, I become delusional and I buy the thing that I know good and well I can’t wear. Does it usually work out? NO. But did it this time? YES. In theory a tie front shirt shouldn’t work for my bobs (big ol boobs) but with this top from Abercrombie it did. I have a few theories on this.

For one, I sized up. This is the large and overall a medium would fit more like the model. The extreme looseness on the sides, allows for this top to just ‘sit’ and not pull or tug at the ties. Secondly, I wore a black bra so that if you could see between the little tie front windows, you really wouldn’t notice anything. The top is surprisingly covering, only if you were REALLY looking in a rude and inappropriate way would you see anything and that being my bra and some skin. I wore this look out for dinner and felt comfortable the whole night. I am thrilled to find out this trend actually can be for me. Or at least in this top anyways! I’ve rounded up some other versions of this trend below:

Tie-Front Tops

This skort is actually one from last year and it’s just a wee bit big. So I bought the updated version in a medium and that one was a wee bit small. SO I’ll link the updated version here (it’s a wrap and so cute) but I would say TTS. I would need the large in it for sure. Overall it’s a really comfortable skirt and a nice way to bring in linen, as it’s a nice soft feel especially after a wash and wear. Find it here!

Fit Details

I am in the large of the skirt, TTS for this year’s version. I am in the large of the top, but it runs generously. Size down for a closer fit like the model.
