What I Wore Last Week-ish

Hi friends! I’ve got a bit post for you with a few of my outfits from the last 2-ish weeks! Guess what? I’m noticing that as my mental health is coming back around, so are my outfits! Dare I say I’m dressing cuter?! I’m noticing that I’m wanting to get dressed and it’s exciting again; I’m feeling good about my closet, my job and I’m actually thinking about what I want to wear again. You may be saying ‘Am I hearing you, right? That I measure my mental health by my outfits?’ You bet you are. I’m telling you ‘style blogger’ runs deep in my bones and getting dressed is a measure I use to check in on myself. I’m feeling better, my friends and I think it shows 🙂

Say hi to Rosie! What you don’t see is Gemma doing her best to keep the dogs entertained off to the side because they love to bomb a selfie. I get it, I do. This is one of my favorite outfits as of late! You’ll be seeing it styled a bit differently on here this Friday. These pants are selling fast — they’re from J.Crew and hear me when I say size up one. They did not run small for me, I need just a touch more of a rise and a bit more room in the waist in this cut from J.Crew. It’s a 10 for me, go up one size for a looser fit! Shop them here.

This top is from last year Anthropologie, but I’ve rounded up a few options from Anthro that would work beautifully with this look. 🙂

Madewell Linen Short Sleeve Top | Madewell Harlow Airy Denim Jeans | Zara Sandals | Madewell Bucket Tote (amber brown)

This outfit came together real fast as I was running out the door and I loved it! Definitely want to repeat this look again, but maybe on a cooler day. This denim is light, but still denim. I am in the 10, fit is spot on but is most fitted at the waist for those of use with rounder waists. I am in the large of the top and really like this fit for more room in the arms and bust.

This is my go-to Kendi outfit this summer. A button down + denim shorts + those damn Zara sandals that have me in a committed relationship. I kinda wished I would have added a belt to this look — even chicer! Also, this is one of the best linen tops I’ve found — it’s from Zara. It’s oversized and a really nice wear. After the first wash and air dry, it was crunchy but I steamed it out nicely. Tiny bit of shrinkage but not bad for linen. I’m in the large! The shorts run — I find a bit small — so I am in the 31!

I just love these wild pants — also they are jeans not pants. Denim-adjacent material, so don’t expect linen or knit. Another running out the door outfit, but next time I’d pair my green Gazelles with this look and my Clare V. crossbody.

This one was my most loved on LTK last week! And I know why — it’s just so cute! This set is from Madewell but the pieces are sold separately. I am in the medium of the top, as it’s very oversized and I am in the large of the bottoms, as they run TTS. The tank is Free People and I wear the large!

Here is that Free People tank again! A nice, light cotton tank but with coverage. It has a fun retro vibe too, which pairs nicely with my 90s mom shorts from Zara (I wear the 10!) I am in the large of the tank and I am wearing a strapless bra with this tank. The one I’ve sworn by for a decade is found here.

Fun fact: my dad asked me if I was going to play tennis in this outfit. Sadly, I was *not* going to play tennis but I do like being associated with athletes, so this outfit is a win in my book. I am in the large of this vuori tank which has a built in bra. It runs TTS but isn’t super long. The skirt fits great! I am in the large.

This was definitely from 3 weeks ago, but still worth a post! This top matches this skirt here if you didn’t notice. I’ve yet to wear them together though…anyways, this linen top has been getting lots of wear this summer. It’s a nice top to throw on. I am in the large of the top and 31 of the shorts.
