This linen skirt is adorable and I know that skirts aren’t the hottest commodity or best seller out there, but Lord knows I love a skirt. (This Madewell one is my full summer vibe, I’ve decided.) This outfit is such an easy combo to take on vacation, especially the beach, because it’s easy to pack, style and it’s easy to wear for a dinner or daily excursions. I wore this to a casual dinner with a tank, but you could dress this look up a bit more, too. There is a matching top that you could pair for an elevated look, if you wanted something more than just a tank. (See the matching top here!)
I am in the large of the skirt and it fits perfectly, for a size 8/10. There is a bit of wiggle room too, especially with the elastic band in the back of the waistband. I would say it’s true to size, if not a bit generous. If you find Madewell to run a bit loose, go down a size! Find the skirt here. By the way, this skirt is non-sheer, but I would suggest lighter underwear, of course. I didn’t have any trouble with sheerness, as it’s a thicker linen fabric.
