I promise you I did not forget to get dressed Saturday / Sunday but I did wear essentially the same thing both days. Different leggings, but same top, same jacket. And I know, I know — it’s leggings but it is NOT a give up outfit. You see, I am in clean out mode at the house and you know what? I don’t want to clean the house out in a dress or jeans. I also didn’t want a photo so selfie it is for the weekend looks. I think this is a good rule I’ll abide by this month.
So the bad news is this Sweaty Betty sweatshirt isn’t online any longer, as it’s a few years old. But the good news is there is an upgrade version of this sweatshirt which is actually running a little small on me, so it may just end up in my pre-loved shop next month. And the better news is that the upgraded one is actually cuter.
Speaking of the pre-loved stuff, I was for certain that I was almost to the end of my pre-loved shop / inventory. I wasn’t even sure if I’d have enough to do an upload this January. Oh my friends, this is simply not true. Like a magician pulling a rabbit out of a hat, I have found a whole big long rack of more things to sell. Sometime this month I’ll have another pre-loved upload and this one will be BIG. I don’t know what has gotten into me but I am cleaning things out like crazy. Nothing is safe, I’m telling you. Well actually my leggings are safe. Let’s be honest, they’re not just leggings, they’re emotional support pants.
Also, I’ll probably write a post about this because it’s what I do, but I’m not buying from Amazon this year. However, I can’t ignore that this old puffer is from Amazon. So if you do decide to purchase, it is a good puffer, it’s soft and it gets the job done. I’ve had it since 2021 and really worn it and it’s a durable puffer and warm. I will probably still wear the things I’ve kept from Amazon, but new items, hauls, etc. are over for me. What about you? What are your thoughts on Amazon as a whole?

Not a fan of Amazon. Agree, best to avoid!
I am tired of all the Amazon recommendations. The majority of the items I have ordered do not hold up well or the fabric is cheap and requires extensive ironing to look good. I would rather pay a little bit more for better quality items. And now Amazon is charging for returns unless you take them back to Kohl’s. No thanks!
Cheers to the Amazon embargo of 2024 . . . I found that I have seriously curtailed my shoe/clothing purchases from them for some time, mostly due to quality issues, but also due to a desire to source more ethically made items. Not mad at ya!
Over all this blog is so amazing and I really love it.
Thank you for the worthwhile content.
content is so amazing and I love it.
fantastic content that I like it.
Agree – i try not to follow/consume content from people who only post amazon (or a lot of it). I think sustainability is the way to go! I like this decision!
Strong agree on the amazon front, for a whole host of reasons. And I love that you’re doing the preloved shop too!
