Well my friends, I got sick this week. January gonna January. Every year it never fails, I get sick. I was even patting myself on the back getting started so early this year, only to have my plans foiled by whatever germ was floating in the air that fateful day at Costco. So I was out a few days this week — does this mean the challenge is a fail? Maybe. I don’t know, what am I gonna do? De-qualify myself lol
This post has a double meaning — it is about an updated pair of jeans but also a jeans update. Remember when I told you that I had lost a pair of jeans?! I FOUND THEM. Ya’ll they were in my closet the whole time. Or so they say. If that’s true, there was a glitch in the matrix because I swear I looked in that exact spot (the jeans spot) 100x. But whatever, alls well that ends well. I found the long lost pair of madewell jeans.
Secondly, a pair of updated jeans! I went ahead and just found some jeans that fit. This pair is from J.Crew and they are LOVELY. The jeans are a softer fabric, but still with structure and stretch. A nice length — but quite long as I’m in the regular and I needed a heeled boot. But I like that they’re not cropped, it’s a relief. The high waist is nice as well. I am in the 30 and could maybe even go up a size for comfort but overall TTS and stretch with wear. 11/10 recommend. And not to sound like an influencer, but they are a trouser fit so you can dress them up or down. Love that for us.

I used to follow you years ago. I randomly wondered if you still did outfit posts, because i was in need if inspiration, but your face is completely unrecognizable. Did you get work done? You dont look like you 🙁
Lol no, I didn’t get work done, but I certainly don’t shame anyone who choses to. However, I have aged. If you used to follow me, then you probably remember my 20-something face which I surely don’t have anymore. This is so curious — have you never seen someone age before? I will not look like I did 15 years ago, 10 years ago or even 5 years ago. My weight has changed, my body has changed and yep, my face has and will change. If you’d like to see me frozen in time in the way you prefer me to look, my archives are available to you.
