Happy Friday, my friends! I wanted to share another way to wear the sweater that I so casually tossed over my shoulders (and technically didn’t wear) in yesterday’s post. I’ve been doing this for years but turning a dress into a skirt with a sweater is my favorite trick or hack or whatever we are calling it these days. This is especially helpful as a layer for that in between temp right now; when it’s cold in the morning, warmer in the afternoon. Toss on, toss off per your own preference.

If you are wondering how I got it to stay like this well I personally just kind of rolled the bottom hem and let it rest on the button of the dress. And it somehow stayed however, if you want a more committed way of cropping a sweater, a belt is what you want to use. Place the belt at the hem of your sweater and then pull the top of your sweater over the hem so you cover the bottom of the sweater and belt and it looks effortlessly cropped.

By the way, this sweater is on sale at Madewell! You can find it here. Plus use code LTK20 at Madewell right now for 20% off. (I’m in the medium.)
