August is such a style conundrum for me. I want to wear fall but it’s still so very summer. I will say I am loving shorts / skirts with my go-to combo of a long sleeve (but lightweight) top right now. It is a nice compromise between summer and fall I feel like. This skirt I’ve been wearing non-stop however because it’s just an easy thing to toss on. It’s cute with just a tee or this button down, so easy to wear and pair. I just love this mini from Madewell — it’s not too short and it’s’ really lightweight, so it’s so comfortable. Size down if you want a closer fit! Find it here under $100.

The top I’m wearing is identical to this one from Nordstrom! This one is Frank & Eileen that I’ve had for about 5 years! It is one of my favorite tops, it’s so soft. If you are looking for a high end button down that last, this one is a great option. The Nordstrom option fits more oversized but is a perfect match, too! (Or the ever favorite Madewell poplin would work for this look too.)

PS: these sandals — I know it’s late to buy sandals in the season — but they are so comfy! I’m thinking about them in the black too! Super comfy and padded. All day sandals for sure.

I am in the medium of the top, fit is relaxed. I am in the 30 of the skirt but it runs generously! You can size down one or look for a related look in your typical size.

  1. Too cute, just like Barbie but in real life 😇😘. Why look for the dolls elsewhere?

  2. It’s important to embrace one’s own body type and style, and your confidence is impressive. Regardless of how the model wears it, take pride in styling that chambray shirt the way you see fit. geometry dash world
