As you guys may or may not know, I’ve been on a journey of cleaning out my closet and reselling these hidden gems in my re-sale shop, which is maybe, possibly a metaphor for cleaning out my life. It has been incredibly cathartic and now I am obsessed with cleaning things out. And when I say closet…I really mean… I can’t believe I’m saying this but…closet(s) plural, and a storage unit, and like…*Sigh* I have the archives of Kendi Everyday in physical form taking over all of the storage in my life. This is years of style blogging mixed with my inability to let anything go that I am now unraveling. It is slightly embarrassing for me to admit all of this which is actually why I’ve held on to everything for so long, physically and emotionally if we are being honest. But it has been nothing but beneficial; cleaning out has really created a path in my brain that is forcing me to make decisions on what I actually want to wear. And I don’t want to jinx anything here but I’m actually okay with letting things go.
So that means this Amazon dress I am wearing here has made it through a few rounds of heavy questioning and multiple clean outs. Turns out I really love this dress, which is funny because no it’s not the highest quality of fabrics (it’s layered lightweight poly)but I like the fit and the floral print and it’s easy to wear and always looks great. It checked all of my imaginary boxes for a keep. Plus? I actually wear it and want to. That’s the thing about everything I’ve been hoarding — I actually really like it all. I can find possibility for all of it. I like everything and that’s the problem. The thing is I can like everything, I just can’t keep it all. What good is a beautiful dress that I love if I don’t wear it and it just hangs there? It’s no good, it needs to be loved and worn by you. So as you can see, this is all very cathartic for me to break down all of these habits I’ve created for good or bad as a style blogger over the past decade and a half. Am I on my journey to be the next Marie Kondo? Is Netflix going to contact me? I don’t know guys I’m just saying, a Marie Kondo with a potty mouth, a penchant for hoarding and emotional damage might be fun to watch.
I did re-stock this month with more items and we are literally just at the tip of the iceberg with fall / winter items. Find the shop here, if you are interested!
I named this post Cargo Blazer because it was supposed to be about the jacket but sorry, kid it just wasn’t your turn. I’ll re-wear it and talk about it in another post. This post was about me but you can find the jacket and it’s amazing 1-Star review here! (I’d give it a 4 Star if I were the reviewing type.)

I love the outit and how they match with the golden goose sneakers. I love how you wear the sneakers without socks!
Hi Kendi
Wonderful dress. But you are more delightful.
What size are you wearing in the blazer?
Medium!
Hello there,

Your sense of dress is a reflection of your humor and honesty. It’s important to embrace one’s individual body type and style, and your self-assurance is wonderful.
A cargo blazer combines the formal silhouette of a blazer with the utilitarian features of cargo-style pockets, creating a versatile and stylish garment.
