If you are excited for this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, well then you ave arrived at the right post. This post is here to help you navigate this absolute monster of a sale. I’ve done my first round picks of the sale so far and I’ve linked everything I’ll be keeping my eye out for below. This week I’ll be sharing ALL of my picks from the sale, as it becomes open to different Nordstrom Card holders. But before we get into the nitty gritty, how about an outfit?
I have had my eye on this skirt — wait no let me back up. I’ve had this type of skirt on my mind for a while and I found the perfect one from Nordstrom under $50. This one is not on anniversary sale because the sale isn’t live yet, but it’s still a really nice price for this skirt. It’s fully lined and the fit is spot on. If you want a looser fit, go up one size like I did but otherwise it fits TTS. Find it here!
This linen top is from Nordstrom as well — it’s a boxier fit, just FYI. I am in the large but it’s fitting a bit big! I’d say it’s a generous fit, so keep that in mind! Find it here.
Ultimate Guide to The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
If you are new to this sale, basically this is when Nordstrom releases brand new items for 30-50% off. If you are looking to do back to school shopping for you, your kids, etc. this is a great sale shop! Some people like to shop for Christmas and get it done, others (like myself) like to just snag deals on some of my favorite luxe brands that I typically don’t buy unless it’s on sale. There are also beauty deals that I literally use all year long. Overall it’s an amazing sale to find brand new styles for fall on sale. Let’s see how you an win at this sale! The sale starts tomorrow for Icon Cardholders and opens throughout the week for Cardholders. The sale opens to the public (not a Nordstrom card holder) next Monday, July 17th and will go through August 6. After that, the prices go up!
1 / Start Looking Now + Get Your Wish Lists On
The wish lists will be your best friend, as they are already mine. Even if you don’t have a Nordstrom card, with an account you can select the items you love, like or are just looking at and place them in your wish list. My wish list is currently at ‘need to win the lotto’ status but that’s the fun of it all isn’t it? This is also helpful for when you ARE ready to shop you can click through here (wink, wink) go to your wishlist and select the items quickly and check out!
2/ Be Aware of Key Dates
If you are a Nordstrom Card Holder, know your status so you can know when to shop! I’ll be shopping tomorrow (humble brag) and I’ll be doing a try on …let’s be honest, multiple try ons this month, for what I find in my store! Here are the key dates below:
3/ Download LTK App for quick links!
The LTK app is a stand alone app that allows you to follow me (@KendiEveryday of course) and you can shop all of my Nordstrom Anniversary picks, gallery posts, try ons, etc. in one place. Basically with this app, if I link something on my IG stories, you can click the link and it will take you directly to LTK. From there you can find every detail — my sizing, the links, my shoes, accessories. Basically whatever I’m wearing head to toe will be linked with advice on sizing for you. Then you can shop mobile and it’s all so easy. Now I will always update my blog first, but with LTK it’s nice to have on the go! Find my page here.
4/ If something sells out, keep checking back!
I personally find that they hold re-stocks until the public sale, but also if you have a favorite item, be sure to wish list it and check the item for a re-stock! The wish list will also let you know when something is back in stock. Plus I’ll keep you in the know as well!
5/ Make a list + budget.
For me shoes, coats, denim, and makeup are my go-to’s for the sale. They are the best price right now. It can be so overwhelming and your brain will start saying things like OH LOOK AT THIS YOU NEED IT. But if you have a list, then you can make the best decisions for yourself instead of getting distracted by the 1000s of SKUs. This year I am adding in Gemma’s essentials for back to school as well. I’ve already made my list of what I need and I’m going to try my best to stick to it. Wish me luck…
Now I’ve made a list of the items I’ll be looking for / trying on this week! I am hoping my local store has these but the best place to guarantee the items you want is online — first and fast. Obviously I won’t be buying all of these…unless I win the lottery tomorrow night. If I do, I will not announce it…but there will be signs.
