I have to say that the Lucie Dress from Madewell is my very favorite cut of a dress. They bring it around almost every season (maybe every season? I’m not 100% sure.) and what do I like about it? Oh, you KNOW I’m about to tell you. I love the square neckline on both the front and the back. The smocking at the bust makes fit a breeze for those of us with heavy boobs. I love that the dress is inherently flowy but somehow still fitted in all the right place. And best of all, the Lucie is very very versatile. I can pair this here dress with heels, flats, sneakers and my god, I did it with lug sole boots and it looks fabulous. Like what can this dress do!? (Honestly that’s it — it is just a dress, but it can work with multiple shoes. It won’t like clean your house for you and it definitely doesn’t clean your house when you put your body in it. In fact, all I did in this dress was frolic on a street sidewalk and then write this post. I’m still searching for that magical dress.)
