Technically this dress has a tie waist — a little fabric cord that comes with the dress and creates a waist for you. But there was just something slightly mod about this dress that gave this whole look a 60s vibe. I pulled my hair back, threw on my best cat eye glasses and dangly earrings to complete my mod-ish look. I think I pulled it off.
My dress is on sale even though it’s new! In fact all of J.Crew’s newest arrivals are on sale right now. (I’ll do a whole post next week of my favorites because I haven’t quite delved into all of the new arrivals yet) I am in the medium. It runs TTS for J.Crew. It has a separate navy dress underneath that acts as a liner, so it is non-sheer. Find it here!
I don’t love a kitten heel but I can’t resist a pop of quirky color. These heels are either pistachio or avocado…I’m not sure but I do know that I absolutely love them. Maybe kitten heels aren’t so bad after all — the height is comfortable and they are just a step up (no pun intended) from a sandal, so they’re easy to pair with casual things. Green kitten heels, who the hell knew?

Almost a year since that day when I fell in love while gliding along your wake, diffusing freshness and sensuality.
So DAZZLING!
