The Boots You’ve Gotta Scoop Up This Fall

You guys know I rarely lead you astray and I’m here today with a realllllly good pair of boots you need for fall. Did you see that? There are like 7 ‘l’s’ in that really. That’s how you know I mean it.

I keep a pretty neutral mind when it comes to ordering items online because you just never know these days. Sometimes things disappoint, sometimes things surprise. These boots SURPRISED the absolute shock out of me. Most of the time over the knee boots aren’t really over the knee, especially if they aren’t designer. But these went all the way up and the best part? They work for bigger calves! I have some 15″ calves and these slipped on easily. It’s a stretchy knit, so there is room to move and stretch which is a nice break from a full leather boot. The heels isn’t too intimidating but it’s nice to have some height. I have a pair of designer OTK boots that have no heel and actually find them harder to wear than with a heel, for what it’s worth. Scoop Tie Back Over the Knee Boots

You know I love a good floral mini skirt. To me, it’s the ultimate 4-season skirt. For winter you can pair it with tall boots (oh like these perhaps?) and or tights. For fall, booties of course. Summer and spring work with sneakers or sandals. This skirt is perfect for layering as well. I kinda wish I would have put it in my capsule, but there’s always next month. 😉 I am in the medium and it runs a bit big, I find. It has a zipper on the side so it’s easy on and off over the hips. Last, this is just a wonderful basic sweater. Soft like a lamb, oversized like a blanket — it’s everything you want in a sweater. You’ll be so glad you picked it up when it turns cold. As always, I am in the medium — a nice, true oversized fit. Find it under $30 here!
