Summer Skirt

So when we were in Florida, we stayed at WaterColor and it was heavenly. I’ve only been to Orlando for Disney World like 10 years ago so I had NO idea just how beautiful the beaches there are. I was blown away. And I did myself a favor and got every post scheduled so I didn’t have to think about work. I never do this, ya’ll. Instead, I procrastinate and wait till the last minute to get absolutely nothing done and then roll myself into a ball of stress and anxiety just in time for vacation. Am I finally figuring things out in my late 30s? Hard to say because I still haven’t unpacked my suitcase from the beach and we’ve been home for three days. Two steps forward, two steps back.

All that to say I actually relaxed and took a real vacation. I have to be honest — it’s been years since I let myself do this. I didn’t think about content or the internet and it was wonderful. It was just me and my family and the beach. It was perfect in every way. I knew I wanted to shoot my outfits but I just got dressed when I felt like it. (I mean to say that I was ALWAYS dressed. This wasn’t a nude beach lol.) So some of my outfits are a mix of casual and slightly dressy, depending on what we were doing. This outfit I wore to dinner and I gotta say I loved wearing this skirt. It’s flowy, summery, and it just felt special. I actually ended up switching tops to a black tank after we shot this because this tank top is really thick. It was getting on my nerves so I swapped it. I would suggest getting the Loft tank top with this skirt instead of the Agolde one. It’s a better match fit wise!

I am in the large of the skirt! I sized up after reading reviews. I like this fit, I find that it fits more like a medium for me. You can find this skirt here!

I wear a medium in the Agolde tank but again, I don’t know if it’s my top recommendations. It’s a high quality top, don’t get me wrong. But it’s THICK and it’s kind of hard to tuck into skirts like this or wear with anything other than denim, I’ve found. If you like a thicker, cotton tank then this is your gal! If not, go for the Loft version here.
