Summer Essentials under $50 + 4 Outfit Ideas for The Summer

I know it’s *technically* still spring but it’s starting to feel like summer here and at the beginning of each season I like to have a few new styles to rotate into my closet. This summer looks a little bit different but my wishlist for summer is always the same: sandals, shorts, easy dresses and lightweight tops. Perfect for hanging out in the backyard or at the pool or an impromptu at-home date night or even just looking cute for the day. I rounded up some of my favorite pieces for the summer — and all of them are under $50 from Wal-Mart Fashion! Which is quickly becoming my go-to for summer styles — they have really easy pieces to wear that are cute AND comfortable! And let’s be honest — that’s all I want in the summertime. These have to be the softest sandals ever and they last! My mom and I swear by them. These are mine from last year and they look just as new! I’m in the medium of the dress! It fits a bit generous, so size down one if you are in between sizes. Find this dress here.

I legitimately want to wear this outfit every single day this summer. This top I’m wearing is under $15 and is a lightweight cotton — such a perfect summer top! I’m in the medium.

Backyard BBQ

Look, if we are having ANY kind of meal outside I’m counting it like ‘going out’ so I’m going to get dressed up. This is a perfect dress for an outside bbq — it’s lightweight, doesn’t wrinkle and I feel fancy. I’m in the medium of the dress — true to size! Find it here.

I’m in the medium of the top — I would suggest sizing down! It fits pretty loosely. I’m in the 8 of the shorts and I’m wearing them cuffed, but they are a generous fit. TTS.
