The snakeskin trend came in hot last fall and I personally loved it. It’s a nice break from our beloved leopard print and goes very well with a neutral wardrobe. A little pop of nature in your neutrals. But if you’re wondering if this trend is going to stay I can confirm yes! And not just fall but for spring and summer as well! I’ve found two pairs of shoes from DSW that perfectly pair spring with snakeskin. See how I’ve styled them below!

Keep It Classic
If you’re new to this print, I always suggest going with a classic shoe silhouette. This Crown Vintage snakeskin pump from DSW is the perfect intro into this look. It feels trendy but not overwhelming. An instant new classic for spring.
You can find this pair of heels under $60 here!
I wanted to style this pair of pumps in a classic but updated way with a light linen blazer and linen-like top. Pairing this outfit with denim it creates a casual vibe that plays well with the snakeskin pump. (You could easily swap out denim for black pants as well if you want to make this look office ready!) Think of these pumps as a neutral pump and it opens up a lot of different outfits! Since they have beige, grey, brown and black as their main colors, they can literally go with anything! A true member of a working closet.
I am in the size 10 — my normal size. They are comfortable and easy to wear! Find them here.

Boho Vibes
If you love this trend and want to level up, then may I introduce you to the snakeskin platform. You heard me right — The Snakeskin Platform Sandal. I mean! This shoe couldn’t be more 2020 if it tried. And let me tell you — I am obsessed. I am usually a bit late to the shoe game by the time spring rolls around but not now — I am READY.
Find these sandals here! I am in the 10, true to size!
For me, when I think about going with a trendier shoe I want to match the trend of the shoe but I don’t want to overload the whole look. These shoes have a boho vibe and so I thought this tiered black dress was perfect to play up these sandals. With this outfit, the trend is in the details — from the tiered boho dress to the subtle snakeskin and the platform sole. I can also see these platforms with white jeans and an easy top, too. (Spoiler: they look GREAT with denim, too! I love a shoe that can do it all. Find them here!

Speaking of new shoes for spring, I’m working on a full post but I wanted to round up a few options under $75 for spring from DSW. I love popping on over to DSW for new shoes when I’m looking for something new and exciting! I can always find what I didn’t know what I was looking for there. 😉 I have a knack for it in fact. Here are a few of my favorites for spring!
*special thank you to DSW for collaborating on this post! All thoughts and opinions are my own.
