2019 Gift Guide: Kendi’s Favorite Things Under $150

So in past years (or this gift guide here – ha) I didn’t ever set a budget — sky was the limit. But this year I set a budget of $150 because that seemed a bit more realistic for a gift guide. While I would be happy to put together a pie in the sky gift guide, this one, I realized, had all of my favorite things on it. (Yes, including The Comfy, lol.) Also, if you use my gift guide as a way to hint to whomever for gift ideas let me take it from here.

Let’s break down the list! 

So basically all of this is fashion so heading seems silly at this point but…

Fashion 

If it’s got polka dots, it’s got my name on it. This one from Madewell is adorable! (I would assume a generous but true to size here.) 

And I know it seems just like a regular tee, but I would love this Anine Bing tee for Christmas. I am in between size medium and yes please. (Am I coming off as desperate yet? No? Okay perfect.) And wouldn’t it look perfect with this cardigan and these jeans? YES IT WOULD. I mean can you imagine opening up this complete outfit on Christmas Day? I can. I just teared up a little from my own version of Christmas morn. 

This list really only has one thing on here that I have and love — wait two things — the Faux Leather Spanx leggings (I size up!) and the Comfy, which is the softest hooded blanket ever. I highly recommend both as a gift. To yourself. Find faux leather leggings here and the Comfy here. 

I am all about cozy this time of year and this two-piece-not-quite-a-set-because-you-have-to-buy-it-separately would seek the deal for me as far as not getting off the couch for two weeks after Christmas. You can find the top here and the bottoms here! 

Pair that set with this pair of Ugg Slippers and this robe? I would seriously never leave my house. 

My list for Shoe-mas is complete with this new pair of Nike Dia’s (one of my favorite styles!), this neutral hue in Air Force Ones, this beautiful neutral slide which I may or may not already own and this cute little pair of Ugg boots. 

Beauty

On the beauty front, I love this set of makeup brushes (a great deal!), who couldn’t use some new makeup brushes? Find them here. 

I’m dying to try this FutureDew serum from Glossier! I love that Glossier is actually a great price but it’s still such a great product. Find FutureDew here. 

I’ve had my eye on this T3 hair wand for a while! Give the gift of perfect curls this Christmas. (Do I sound like a Sephora ad? LOL.)

Oh You Fancy?

I love this fancy lady headband with pearls on it! It doesn’t look too bulky too, so perfect for any classy lady in your life. (It would pair well with the Lonchamp tote!)

These Tory Burch studs say fancy but I have my limits and these marble coasters are actually under $20! So they just look fancy but don’t cost fancy. #relatable
