Joggers But Make It Fashion

Have you noticed lately that style has become more comfortable? In the best way of course, like I am so excited that joggers are here to stay in style for years to come. Why? Because joggers are LIKE fancy sweatpants; fleece but make it fashion. You know? So how DO we make it fashion? Well, I’ve got a few ideas for you…

One thing you can do to make joggers feel more fashion, is to add the right layers to them. If you pair joggers with a tee (scroll below!) then you get a lovely weekend / casual look. But if you take a nice crisp blouse and pair it with a blazer, you’ve taken the jogger look up a notch. They no longer feel casual but more like trousers. Add in a flat or even a heel — you fox you — and you’ve got a day look perfect for the office.

This look can be worn with a graphic tee as well — a blazer and graphic tee makes the look more approachable but still fashion! Just think of the joggers as a trouser and accessorize accordingly.

It should come as no surprise to you by now that I love to dress Gemma and I alike. I don’t always show it because — I don’t know if you know this but — it’s really hard to get a toddler to stay still for photos. Which is why we decided the tricycle is going to make an appearance in the photos this time. That and because Gemma said so. You learn to pick your battles –and the battle I won? We dressed alike. I’ll take the W on this one.

Joggers are the perfect weekend companion because you are comfortable but you look pulled together. I paired this outfit with a denim jacket (obsessed with this dark black rinse!) and a graphic tee. Graphic tees were made for weekends, no? I tend to put Gemma in comfier clothes on the weekend as well, so a nice striped tee and a pair of matching joggers is perfect for a Saturday walk to get coffee.

I am in the medium of everything shown! Everything fits TTS, the black joggers are a bit more snug / shorter so size accordingly. The white sneakers run about a half size too big.
