Ivory in Autumn

I’m here today to make a case for ivory pants in autumn. That’s right, my friends, white pants after Labor Day. Sure we’ve past Labor Day by a few weeks so I am technically breaking ‘the rules’ set by… I have no idea who made that stupid rule up but I wouldn’t shake their hand.  But if I may be so bold to suggest that we are also technically before Labor Day as well. Labor Day 2020 is still around the corner, so let’s not forget that time is linear both ways. Therefore with my logic, I suggest we burn the no white after Labor Day rule because white trousers are perfect year round. Also look at my toes, they are out in the open and free. I’m burning that rule, too. I will draw the line at pizza for breakfast. Don’t @ me.

I just really love white trousers lately (these are from Zara and I hate that I love them so much). I’ve rounded up a few other options below! I think that these pants can work with just an easy tee or a really cool bold sleeve top as you see here. Of course, I’m biased because it’s my outfit but I really do love this outfit. The pants, the top, I love it all. Don’t worry, I’m not always this confident. It will fade out by lunch. Just as I’m re-heating my leftover breakfast pizza up for lunch. (PS: found some exact pants at Target!)

I am in the medium of this top — I love it so much. It’s just kind of quirky but also not because it’s just a simple cotton top. It’s sneaky like that. I would say it fits true to size but it’s pretty open and free in here. Size down if you don’t need room for boobs! You can find it here!
