Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking. 😉Â
It wouldn’t be spring and I wouldn’t be a blogger if I didn’t use that iconic line from Devil Wears Prada, right? But lucky for you, I’m more of an angel and this look is from everyone’s favorite store, LOFT! I saw this beautiful wrap dress online and knew instantly I needed to try it on. I realized that it is an online exclusive, so it’s a sneak preview of what’s to come in store (so you can literally be one of the first to have it!) and I bought it on the spot. I loved the soft ruffles and flutter sleeves; I can confirm: in person, it’s even lovelier. I loved the subtle details of this dress even more once I put it on — it’s so Spring it hurts. Since we are in high dress season, I knew instantly this one would work for Easter and beyond. It is a wrap dress, but the chest part is really modest and doesn’t pop open like some tend to do! I am in size 8 and I think it’s a generous fit. I would say if you are in between sizes, size down one! You can find this perfect spring dress here.
The best thing about florals for spring is that everyone can wear them. From small print florals, if you’re trying to be subtle to bright happy florals, LOFT literally has a floral for everyone. As much as I’m ready for full days of sunshine and summer temperatures, I am actually kind of glad that we are still having cool days around here. I love to layer dresses and this blazer is just the kind of jacket I love to pair with a flirty dress. If you’ve been looking for a light blazer, this one is gorgeous. It’s a textured fabric which gives it a luxe vibe. This blazer fits oversized, intentionally, and I am in my true size, 8. Devil Wears Prada is one of my favourite movies, every time I watch it I just want to go and work even though I don’t have a job… haha but because I studied fashion it kind of makes me motivated
That’s a gorgeous dress, it’s so flowy and the pattern is so soft and pretty. Wondering if Loft ships internationally, I’m gonna have to do a little research.
