This little sunflower has finally come alive, you guys. I’m calling it — spring is here and I couldn’t be more excited. I literally wake up feeling refreshed and excited and full of ideas. This is a 180 from January-February, where I just feel a bit sluggish and sad if we are being honest (and I think we are here.) The refreshed feeling could also be because…drum roll please…we are officially sleeping in the crib at night! Wait, I didn’t say that right. Gemma is officially sleeping in the crib through the night! Yes, she is 18 months old and no I don’t want to talk about it. π If you had a baby who slept through the night at a miraculous 6 weeks, then you are probably thinking a lot of what?? Β But if you too had a toddler or baby who sleep was tough for them, then you can understand what a milestone this is for us! We are on a few day streaks now and last night she even asked to ‘go up’ to her crib. I don’t want to jinx it but we are co-sleepers no more. (Do you momma’s want a post about this? Let me know! I’m happy to share more mom things!)
So let’s get to this top that is just screaming spring over here! How freaking darling is this top? I wore it on Stories the other day when we were shooting these photos and you guys were asking all about it! It’s actually available now! (Side note: did you know that we release new products at the shop every Tuesday at 10?) I actually ordered this top for the shop back in January but it was on back-order until this month and let me tell you, it was well worth the wait. It’s a light waffle knit with scarf print sleeves and I just love the hints of red. It’s just a subtle touch of boho and I love that it pairs easily with denim of all kind — think how cute this would be with white denim or this light pink pair (that I actually own!) or even a denim skirt? I’m telling you this is a very denim friendly skirt. She plays well with all. π
You can find this top under $45 here!

The shoes are back!!
My daughter has had sleeping issues as well. She just turned four (3/7) and we are still cosleepers
My little one is 4 1/2 and has no problem sleeping in her own bed we when she is sick she snuggles with me. We have Fri/Sat sleepovers too where were watch cartoons and just snuggle…it is more for me than anything. I realize that there will come a time where she will no longer want to snuggle with me so I take what I can now. But CONGRATS on Gemma sleeping in her crib…HUGE MOM WIN!!
I am honestly astonished that we were able to transition to the crib. We started co-sleeping around 8-9 months because it was THE ONLY way we could all get some sleep. I think some kids just aren’t great sleepers and need some help. For Gemma, it was touch and it was having me close and I was happy to give that but the last month and a half she just started to outgrow that need. She didn’t need to sleep on me any more and wasn’t reaching for me in the night as much and honestly, I think we were all waking each other up! She’s a night mover! π I loved co-sleeping, for what it’s worth. I had a lot of anxiety with her in the beginning and having her close really helped that. I cried the first night she stayed in her crib! Ha! I felt like I wasn’t needed any more, isn’t that silly? But at the end of the day, she loves her crib and gets the best sleep and I got a full nights rest too! Amazing! I say whatever you do as a family to get the most rest, is BEST!
Hey, your blog post is amazing, I love your content and website. Keep up the good work. Looking forward for more such amazing work from your side.
Hi Kendi, I was wondering if you will be selling the boho shirt in a size 12/XL. Thanks so much π
This brand doesn’t come in any other sizes runs, unfortunately! :/ I wish it did! But we can always try to find a similar with more sizes! It is pretty loose fitting so the large may work! if you want measurements or anything like that shoot us an emai and I can talk personal details! contact@shopeverydayco.com
Spring – a great time for shopping. What do you think about Zara, is it reasonable to buy clothes there?
