#NSale Find: Embroidered Top

When I love something, like this embroidered top that I keep wearing, and I go on the product page to read reviews and they are mixed, I’m always so defensive. It’s not like I made this shirt myself, I literally bought it ON SALE but when people don’t love something as much as I do I’m like wait, what?! But then I read through the reviews and kind of get what they are saying, so I am here to defend those mixed reviews. 😉 Yes, this is what keeps me up at night. That and a legit fear of night clowns.

“Too puffy sleeves”: Yes, 100% agree the sleeves are much puffier than they are shown on the model. I bought this top in person and not online so I had no idea what it looked like on someone else, just on me so I was good with the sleeve situation in person. I had no sleeve-pectations so I was good with what I got! I think that you can see the sleeves in a more realistic view in these photos! They are definitely more voluminous than shown on the model but they aren’t straight up 1980’s power suit puffy! I’d say size down and they will be less so.

“It’s too roomy”: I think that it leans to running about a size too big (even though I’m in a medium, my normal size) but I liked the length of the medium and I LOVE A FLOWY TOP! If you are petite, short-waisted or you want a closer fit, size down! Problem solved!

“Looks nicer with a half tuck”: I couldn’t agree more, SusanQ. I tried it both ways and I prefer the front tuck the most. It felt a little too loose.

Points I agree with: a great hot weather top and it’s not sheer! Two points for this top! And it’s on sale now through August 5th. One more point for this top!

So sad day — these AG legging jeans are completely sold out. I figured these would be the first to go because they are that good. But I did find some of the same fit of AG jeans on sale as well! They aren’t as cheap as the Anniversary Sale AG jeans but since those are gone, these are still a great deal! I also tried these AG Farrah jeans on and they fit SO similar to the legging jeans that sold out. They aren’t distressed but they are a part of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale!
