The Most Flattering Denim I’ve Found

Happy Friday, friends! Floral Friday over here but with actual flowers 😉 If you’re wondering, we usually always have fresh flowers in our house because I always pick some up at Trader Joe’s while grocery shopping; they are always the cheapest and they last forever! I just think a nice vase of fresh flowers is a happy pick-me-up and for $6 you can’t beat it.

Have you heard or rather seen an ad for Mott + Bow jeans on Instagram or Facebook? I am always seeing these jeans and before I ever took the plunge, Mott + Bow reached out and asked if I wanted to try them out, no strings attached. (Meaning I was not paid or obligated to post about them!) I love a no-strings-attached offer and I said sure! I was curious if they were actually as good as the reviews. And um yeah — they are. They are so, so comfortable because of the stretch but they look super pulled together. I choose the High Rise Skinny in Grove Medium / Dark Blue. I love anything high-rise, especially after baby. I have to say these are some of the most flattering jeans I’ve ever come across. I can not wait to wear them more this fall when the weather is cooler, but till then I’ll pair them with my best sleeveless top!

I will say, some of the reviews said to size down and I did not. I stayed true to my normal designer denim size. So if you wear AG or Paige denim, stick to the size you are in those.

My striped tote is 20% off this weekend at Madewell and Nordstrom! It looks like Madewell is having a good 4th of July sale, which is always a nice surprise. (And Nordstrom is price-matching this tote!) I wanted a nice summer tote to just toss things into. And by things, I mainly mean Gemma’s things, ha. The other day I opened my purse and realized about 50% of it was toys. Mommin’ all day, every day.
