I updated my beauty bag this month with a few new things! I’m always on the look out for new products to try and hopefully love!
I think the thing I love the most about the beauty industry is they are always fixing a problem before I even knew I had it. I didn’t realized I had such red patchy skin until I used a sample of this Smashbox color correcting primer and then I couldn’t unsee the red patches. (I’m kidding, of course. I did know I had red patches but I just used concealer to hide before this miracle primer.) My thing with primers is that I use them for a few months then I just kind of forget about them. This isn’t to say they don’t make my makeup much smoother, it is to say that I get lazy. So when I had the chance to try some Smashbox primers, I was sold. Literally. Give me all the primers. What else can you guys fix?
Other products of honorable mention this month:
– This new highlighting palette from Sephora, ya’ll. If you are new to powder highlighters like me, it’s a nice introduction to different shades to find your perfect fit. Plus I love choices! I’ve been liking the control you have with a powder highlighter versus the cream highlighters I’ve used before. Will I go overboard on the highlighting in the next few days? Yes. Will you guys let it go and count it as a phase? Yes and thank you.
– This belly balm I’m super excited to try out. It had rave reviews on Amazon so I’m all over that. I’m not always great at lotions and moisturizers besides my face, so I’m going to try to and be better at my growing bump. I’ll let you know how it goes — with words, not pictures. 😉
– For the lips, I’ve been loving this quick fix lipstick balm. I honestly don’t know what else to call it because it’s a nice in between lipstick and lip gloss. I would say it’s like a grown up Lip Smackers. Second is this amazing lip balm from Glossier has saved the day literally. I don’t know if it’s winter or pregnancy but these lips were falling apart, you guys. This balm is so good I basically have to stop myself from eating it. I’d like to say that’s an exaggeration but you know me better than that.
Those are my favorites for the month! Have you tried anything lately that you just love? Share it, girl!

The Sephora palette looks stunning. I’ve never seen it before but will def go and check it out, sooo pretty.
I’ve been struggling with a severe case of red nose during the last months. Winter does not look good on me! So I’m really intrigued by that primer!
