We shot this outfit originally for last week’s best pumps for fall post. But then the top and the skirt sold out so fast that we quickly re-thought our approach. Nothing like an all black outfit traded for an all black outfit. When in doubt, dress in black. When in a rush, dress in black. And when everything is sold out, dress in black.
Guess what though? I’m a shopping sleuth and found this top and this skirt elsewhere than my favorite spot Nordstrom. In fact I found this skirt at Revolve in full size range! And same with the top, for those who asked last week! (Stay true to size in both.) Or you can mimic this look with this mock neck lace dress — essentially this outfit in one piece instead of two. So yeah, I’m basically the Olivia Pope of internet shopping.
A little side note — if you’ve never shopped from Revolve, it’s kind of like a less expensive Shopbop meets Amazon Prime shipping. They get their shipments out super fast and they have free returns, which is nice. I hate returning because I’d rather just everything fit perfect the minute I receive it, but that doesn’t always happen so it’s nice to have the option. So anyway, if you’ve never shopped Revolve it’s a nice alternative to look at. Side note finished.Â
I can’t believe it’s already October! We have a busy month ahead — why does it seem like autumn is the busiest season? We are helping my parents move this weekend and next. Moving is no one’s favorite so I’m trying my best not to think about it. (Good plan right? Ha.) And we’ve got some travel plans coming up towards the middle of the month that I’m excited to tell you about! Hello favorite month of the year, I’m ready for your adventures.
