This top was one of my first purchases from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. It went straight into my cart and made it through all of the edits and I’m so happy it did. It’s the sweetest little top with a lace peter pan collar. Honestly, this is what sweater dreams are made of. And then I found it’s counterpart — this Milly tweed skirt. I couldn’t believe how well they went together, even though they are from two different designers. I love when that happens. It’s like they were meant to be together and on sale none the less. (Both are from the anniversary sale! If you aren’t a card holder, you can shop it this Friday when it opens up to the public!)
I have lived in these flats this summer. They have been the perfect travel companion. I always love a nude flat, in fact I love a nude flat so much I wear them completely out. I took some of my favorite flats to a shoe repair and they basically told me no. So I decided to trade them in for a ballet flat and have loved these ones. (Here are a similar look under $100!) With a flat, I never mind investing in a good leather option with a bit of support. I am pretty rough on shoes and flats especially, so I like to go for a higher quality flat to make sure they last as long as possible. These have been perfect for running around during the day, a quick switch from heels to flats or for airport and on-the-go dressing. You can never go wrong with a basic flat.
