This time of year passes by so quickly I tend to forget to look back on what a year it has been. It literally just hit me that this is the last day of 2015. I let time and tasks get the best of me and before I know it’s the last day of the year and my nostalgic deadline is ticking away. Looking back on outfits from the year, I’m always torn because it reminds me of those days, memories, feelings. For some, an outfit is just an outfit. For me, it’s my life in stories — some you know because I leave them here and some I carry with me. Some outfits are from good days, some are from days not as shiny and perfect. But each of those days have been lived and for that I am grateful. And I’m grateful to share each day, outfit, and story with you.
I like to think that each year of my life has a theme and this year was growth. Perhaps it’s my 30s talking but I feel like I’ve grown in so many areas this year; lessons and musings that I can’t wait to share with you next year. I also discovered hats and my love for sunglasses, according to my photos above. Let it be known: 2015 was the year of personal growth and hats.
And as 2015 turns into another year past, here’s to the days that make you laugh and the days that make you learn. I can’t wait to fill my look book of memories next year.

I love each one of these outfits oh so so much!!! I also discovered hats but couldn’t bring myself to actually buy one. I just wear them around the store telling myself I will get it, and then I don’t. bummer! Maybe 2016!!
I like to think 2015 was my year of growth as well. As i look back from when this year began, so much has changed, for the good. And myself as a person is completely different. I’m happy with that. It was a great year!
Wishing you a great last day of the year and even better twenty-sixteen!

So many beautiful and feminine combinations, it’s hard to pick one. But let’s say I’m a big fan of the one with stripes and florals. Adore them all.
