When I was packing for St. Thomas, I realized that I was gravitating the most towards dresses in my suitcase. A few shorts here and there but dresses are just the easiest to pack and thankfully take up the least amount of room, which is essential for summer packing. I can pack a tight suitcase in summer. But winter packing? I’ll let you know when I figure out how to pack lightly in the winter. I also realized once at the hotel that I unknowingly packed a few things that matched the resort’s color theme. I was almost camouflage in my coral dress with these coral walls every place we walked. It actually gave me a secret thrill to be so color coordinated with our trip. The control freak inside was giving me slow claps all day long. You can’t plan coincidences like this, but I like to feel like I did.
