Poppy Palette

Hello again friends! How was your holiday break? Christmas kind of flew by for us but we went up to Chicago last week to see friends and I ended up taking a nice little internet break. Sometimes you just need to unplug from the other side of the world a little bit. Sure there were a few pins and instagrams here and there but other than that, I was on a brain break. But I’m happy to be back to regularly scheduled programming here. Let’s do this 2015. I have zero resolutions for you. Which I’m not sure is a good or  a bad thing. I’ll let you know next January. ( Also, is it sad that a week felt like forever in terms of the internet? Did I miss anything good??)
If you follow on Instagram, I found this dress while in Chicago at Anthro during their huge sale. I’d tried this dress on a few times before but never pulled the trigger — which I’m now thankful for because I got it for much less than the original price. And not only that but it’s just that feeling you get when you find a piece you’ve loved for a while on the rack, on sale, in your size. God bless a good after Christmas sale.

  86. I just invested in a red-orange coat for winter, and you have totally inspired me to take it out for a spin, and not to be shy about it! I feel like red can be a very aggressive color when styled incorrectly, but you knocked it out of the park. If only I had that dress too… Looking amazing as always, kendi!
