This fall I’ve been oddly drawn to more tomboy pieces — flannel patterns, moto jackets, dark denim, sneaks, distressed jeans. I mean the list goes on. Even though I would hardly consider myself a tomboy, I never mind crossing that line when it comes to style. Especially if I can add heels to it, then I’m definitely in. I like to say it’s where street style meets sweet. I also like to rhyme all of the things.
I think most of my ‘fall essentials’ this year fall into the category of tomboy. In fact if I had to make a list of must-haves this fall I think this is what would top the list: Flannel boyfriend top, marled sweater, varsity jacket, distressed denim. And a flirty skirt. Just for prosperity.

I am the same that would never initially think of my self as a tomboy..but I think when the Fall rolls around and all that changes and I find my self reaching for more of my button downs, flannel and simple basics. I love how you wore your plaid button town around your waist!

The only thing on my must-have list is a Clare V. leopard clutch! Clearly girly is on my mind more than tomboy. But I think that clutch can make anything look classy. It's magic.

Stop wearing those burgundy pumps in every outfit post! I cannot handle my jealousy!! They are sooo nice. I cannot wear pumps – something weird about the shape of my skinny ankle? Never found any that don't slip on & off my heel like I was wearing flip-flops. Trust me, that kind of ankle grating is not nice.
