Today was a work day in which I set up camp at a coffee shop and work like a mad women uploading for hours the new collection for Bloom. What I want to wear on these days is pajamas, while being wrapped in a warm blanket. What I should wear is real clothes sans blanket. (You should always wear real clothes, by the way. Always.) I suppose stretchy jeggings and a big, cozy sweater are a close second to pj’s. But still — the blanket was missed.
Today a 14 year old told me she liked my outfit. She’s either a very sophisticated teen or I’m dressing like a tween again. You know what? I’m going to go with sophisticated teen. She knows the chicness of exposed striped socks when she sees them.

I recently discovered the skinny jean-exposed sock-bootie look and I, too, love it! It lets me wear warm socks with my cute booties in this South Dakota winter while still sporting my beloved skinnies. I am so glad this look is "in".
