I tweeted earlier today about how you style bloggers up north do this cold weather and still manage to look adorable. Oh and continue to take outfit photos outside. See it’s easy for me (just kidding, it’s hard very hard. The conditions are terrible down here.) because most days it’s sunny and when I say cold I really mean I need a light jacket because I might get chill bumps. Today it’s cold. Meaning I need the fur of a wooly mammoth so that my organs don’t freeze together. I can’t speak for years 1-5, but for what I can recall I’ve never been this cold ever.
With that said, this was the fastest outfit shoot we’ve ever done. 4 minutes total with the car running. We even interrupted a lady illegally dumping (her trash, ya’ll. Don’t be dirty.) to bring you this outfit today. And now I’m forgoing the grocery store and not cooking dinner so that I can write this post. The sacrifices I make…
(I’m also wearing two pairs of tights, socks and a shirt underneath a shirt underneath a shirt. That’s three layers deep — total Inception style.)

Your post made me giggle. Up here in Ottawa Canada it's -20. We don't ever take our parkas off, that's just crazy talk. We do wear cute parkas though!!
Four minutes FLAT, what?? Dang. I'm impressed, but not as impressed by the Inception reference in accordance to your mad layering skills. I used to call it "ninja layering" (because cleverness just shoots out of my ears like that) because of how "sneaky" it was to look like I'm wearing just one pair of tights when in fact I'm sporting three. But I like Inception better. It comes with a better soundtrack.
Seriously though, awesome post. And in referral to your last post, I can totally see you as Belle. Because duh, she's the best. 😀

I feel you on feeling the cold! Australia doesn't really have much of a winter, but a few days every year it's cold enough for Inception-style layering. Kudos on the super-quick photo-taking! You're obviously dedicated to your loyal readers, haha!

Ha! I agree ~ I can't do pics outside for this very reason. I live in the midwest and can't remember the last time it wasn't 12 degrees and there wasn't snow or ice on the ground. I love this outfit and if it helps, you don't even look the slightest bit chilly. Also loved your sweater tights in yesterday's post ~ they're mandatory for me given my skirt obsession and previously mentioned subzero weather. ~ Susan
I love the red lips with the dark blue. Really classic and very pretty. Hm, no sympathy on the cold front though 🙂 It's -6°C here tonight.
