It has taken great restrain for me not to label this post as “Sekendly”. (Secondly, number two, get it?) Solely because my husband has told me to stop making words out of my name. He let me keep “weekendi” but I’ve had to give up “recommendi”, “kendependant”, “kendanger”, the “kendocrine system” and “perkendicular.” I was sad to see the last one go.
I just realized that I look really sad in that last picture. No worries though, no ice cream cartons were harmed and no bad day haikus were written during the making of these photos. The real reason I look sad is because I haven’t had time to photograph my 30 items yet. I’m waiting on a few items to get to me (don’t judge, you know you last minute shopped as well). But rest assured my dearest remixers and readers, I’ll post them tomorrow night or else. (Or else? That’s right “or else.” I like to threaten my own life, just to spice things up sometimes.)
Or perhaps I’m pissed because those shoes I’m wearing are cutting deep holes into the sides of my feet and I must wear them for the next 30 days. What was I saying earlier about cheap shoes? That I can take it, is that what I was saying? Forget it, I’m a liar. I’m going to look into those sneakers with lifts in them when this thing is over.
Remixers — how’s it going? We’re only on outfit two, so it better be going well or the next 28 outfits are going to be rough.

I'm doing ok on this fabulous remix adventure. Aside from a really long day and realizing the first spot looked at to take pictures was next to a dead bird. Kinda dampened my spirit. Sorry for the cheap shoes. I picked a pair of those too. Slated to be tested tomorrow!

Your outfit is lovely, after I pictured my 30 things I realized that I have a lot of black and grey, now I know what to buy when it's over. So question though, are weekends included in the challenge? cos I'm a little confused about 5 days and 6 weeks. the 6 weeks part scares me 🙂
Personally the remixendi 🙂 is going fantastically well. Really it's great so far and I hope I chose the right pieces for it to be easy the whole way through, we'll see. I think you're sad bc your husband shot down all your great kendi dictionary ideas. Ooh a Kendi dictionary would be amazing, you could get a book deal and be on Oprah…

I'm enjoying it so far. Just got my last few items dry cleaned so now I will have all 30 items in my closet tonight..minus the stuff I've already soiled in the last couple of days. I think we're on a roll!
And I won't judge you for pre-ordering some items. Hopefully new shoes so the other ones won't hurt as much..cuz that sucks.

Because you're standing in front of a red brick building, and you've already got the idea of "cool mom" outfits in my head, this series kinda reminds me of a school teacher. In a good way. So cute, and sad that you had to get rid of perkendicular! That word could have caught on.

I love your 30 for 30 challenges, would have loved to participate but I spent the last weekend moving and my things are all over the place – in boxes, in bags, some i my closet, and some still to be unpacked from Germany…yikes!
