Just a quick post tonight. Thank you guys for your encouragement yesterday! Even my husband woke me up this morning saying “you’re halfway through!” Woohoo! One would think that I took a vow of silence the way I talk about this project. My husband asked if that was next. Smart ass.
We are watching “An Education” and it’s a beautiful movie. I feel like I should have been born in that era, such beautiful clothes came from the 50s and the 60s. If you haven’t seen this movie, I suggest you rent it right now. Like right now. Finish reading my blog post of course and then leave a comment but then go rent it immediately.
We’re making a quick trip to Austin to visit a few friends this weekend. I’ll be posting to keep up with my challenge. See you then. (I’ll be quizing you on the movie by the way.)

Love this outfit, especially the skirt since I own it as well! Love how the red pops with the belt.

I have that belt! And I forgot until just now. Thanks for the reminder/inspiration.
I saw An Education in theatres, and yes – it is gorgeous. I pretty much worship Carey Mulligan now. I wish she'd won the Oscar!
I loved An Education. Pretty much every outfit I coveted in the movie.
I love these photoshoots and that skirt! Congrats on being halfway there!
That skirt is so versatile. You clearly know this, but it was a great pick for your 3 for 30 remix, because it's great remixed in so many different ways! It's got a strong pattern, but gives enough color options to mix and match with many other clothing pieces.
I've been wanting to see An Education for a really long time. (Ever since I heard it existed.) Thank you so much for giving me no choice. A.K.A. an excuse to rent it.
I'm in love with that skirt!
I haven't posted before but I thought it was a good time to say that I love your blog and it always makes me smile.
Since starting means you're halfway there, being halfway there means you're… done?? Paltry logic aside, congrats on holding fast to this project so far! And I agree about An Education– it wasn't a groundbreaking film necessarily, but I really liked it for its storytelling and style (oh! the style).

love this outfit, its simple yet so chic, one of my favs so far:) and congrats on being halfway haha:) I think its really awesome that you're doing the challenge, I don't know if I could myself as I get bored too easily with the same clothes over and over again but its really cool to see someone else doing it though:)
oh and love your blog too btw:):D you have great style!:)
The side braid looks really cute on you!
Love your skirt! Very much agree about An Education it's such a beautiful film 🙂
I love your side braid! And the shoes. And the skirt. Ok, I love it all. And An Education is certainly on the "watch soon" list. 🙂 Have fun in Austin!
xx,
Dee
I have always wanted to visit Austin. have a blast. But see that is where I would TOTALLY cheat, on a trip. See what a good influence I am?
Seriously though you have rocked this challenge and you are almost there. I love the creativity you have had with all the pieces.
Look like the weather cleared up so yay for that!
Great outfit! I recently saw 'An Education' as well and it really is a great movie. I am so inspired by your challenge to 'shop your own closet.'
Super cute! Love the skirt!
Haven't seen An Education yet but definitely will. Promise. 🙂 Love the bright pink of the belt with that skirt. You look great.

Such an awesome skirt! It's on my list, but I've seen very few movies in the past few months as I've been in the last frantic stages of finishing my PhD.
I just wanna say that you are AMAZING! You inspire me daily and your challenge is a great motivation to all of us to remix more of our closet!!
Even though you were having a hard time with this challenge, I think you still do a great job of coming up with outfits :]
Ooh, you're coming to my town this weekend! Sorry that it's suppose to rain though :[ Bleh.
Loving this 30 day challenge, and this outfit! Reminds me of The Uniform Project! But, she only uses one dress for 365 days. So, I guess it really isn't the same at alll.. good thing it's Friday. 🙂 http://www.theuniformproject.com/home/daily/For-Paps.html?month=March
I just realized that it is Saturday.
Hahaha I am leaving a comment and renting the movie right away..err ok maybe later today but I will watch it this weekend.
I read your blog with google reader and I actually hadnt notice you changed the look. I kind of liked the other header image more. Don't get me wrong, this one's cool, too. But I liked the movement in the photo of you jumping, it represents (to what I can perceive from your posts) you so well.
Ok, i'm taking notes for the quiz.
aaah, i watched that this weekend, too! so gorgeous. sigh.
i have not succeeded in taking april off of shopping. argh. i suck. really suck. i shop so much more when i need to do laundry. let's just say i REALLY need to do laundry.
This has been such a fun project to watch. I love the bright colors of this outfit, especially that belt.
