Okay. I’m doing it. For about a year now, I’ve followed a handful of brave and stylish girls through their fashion blogs. I’ve been inspired by these blogs daily and I’ve been wanting to start one for a while. So with the snap of a camera, I started a style blog. Wish me luck 🙂

I have been thinking about starting a blog as well! Congrats on taking the plunge! I find yours to be inspiring b/c I also live in a small, Southern town where my style (by no means outlandish, in fact by most standards borderline boring) does raise an eyebrow from time to time. I'm working through my nerves and my "what will they think of me" reservations. Maybe someday I'll work up the nerve.
Kendi, I love your blog, and I'm so glad that you decided to do it! You are awesome! I just found it recently, and I clicked all the way back to the beginning. Thank you for being brave… you're an inspiration.

LOVE your blog! I too click all the way to the beginning!! Keep em coming 🙂 all of you pix looks like Anthropologie or J crew catalog, you've got a great style and everything looks great on you. Very well put together! Thank you for your awesome blog!!
Well now I don't feel so weird, because I too clicked all the way to the beginning after discovering your blog a few weeks ago.
I'm thinking of starting my own blog, and I just wanted to say they you are one of the bloggers that has inspired be to do this!

what an inspiring wonderful blog it is one of the best i´ve ever seen !!!
So, I've been following your blog for a while. I decided today to go back to the beginning. I found you via the Loft Facebook, usually I don't follow fashion blogs, but I have to say I look forward to each and every post!! You have really inspired me to get into my closet and remix what I've got…which is WAY TOO MUCH!!! I am a fellow Target, Loft and JCrew outlet shopper (my 3 faves). It looks like you live in the Austin area (by the pics), I do too :). Anywho, love the blog, LOVE your outfits! Thanks so much for doing it, I know it's got to be a pain in the booty sometimes. You are making this 30-something mom of 3 dress a little more stylish :).
Wow boots + tights back in the day. I didn’t even know the comibination existed before this year
Like most of the folks on this page, today marks the day that I finish every single post going backwards. It was almost like a long journey. But I’ve always had the enthusiasm to move “backward”.
I am so glad that my close girl-friend recommended this blog to me. I was attracted to it at the first sight. I love each look, I love the color combo, I love the expressions on your face, Kendi.
Now I have to slow down and wait for your update day by day, but I’ll certainly refer to those outfits for my everyday outfit planning. Oh, and one last thing, thanks to the 30 for 30 remix idea, although I’m not officially doing it, I now certainly give many of my idle pieces a second chance to look good on me.
Kendi,
It’s so fun for me to look back on your first few posts… This one particular gives me hope that someday my little blog will grow into something like yours 🙂 You are so fabulous, and always have been. Thank you for your wonderful posts and chic style!

finished reading up to day 1! it was a great journey, kendi! i discovered your blog because one of the top magazines here in the philippines credited you for their own 30for30 challenge taken up by its editors. i admire your courage to dress in your own style while living in a sea of people who could care less. i hope you inspire more people to fearlessly be their own selves everyday. : )
I started my very own blog very recently too after reading blogs for about a year. I’m very inspired by your blog.Â
I’ve been reading your blog since spring 2012 and I decided to see where you began. — I too love all of those wonderful blogs out there, but what make yours my favorite is not only your style (can I have your closet please?) but I too am planning to start my own retail business and you are a great inspiration. — Thanks and keep up the amazing work!!!!!Â

Hi Kendi! I’ve been reading your blog for about a year now and recently started my own over at http://www.maestroandmuse.com with a mix of my own outfits, plus photos of my handmade art & jewelry. You have been such an incredible inspiration and I can’t believe it took me so long to work back to post number one and see how it all started!! I’m sure many a follower will be trekking back here after your post on outfit number five.
Thanks for being awesome!! I wish you only the best 😀
