Happy Monday!

We are cheating winter this year which I don’t mind one bit. This wrap sweater (and it’s well under $100! See my editor’s notes below for fit!) is a perfect transition piece this winter. It’s lightweight enough that I can layer it (it looks so cute with a button down underneath), it’s almost a mix between a sweatshirt and sweater material which means I can easily wear it in the spring, too. When I’m this close to spring, I like to keep in my items that I can stretch out through spring. Plus, I love mixing sweaters with skirts in the spring, so I’m just getting ahead of myself with this wrap sweater outfit. But I don’t even care because I love any reason to wear ruffles.

I chanced it on this skirt from ASOS because I wasn’t sure if the weather would let me wear this before too long. But it’s a sweater kind of skirt (and even looks good with tights) so I’m glad I took a chance and went for it. I’ve been obsessed with ASOS lately. (That’s where this fab tunic/dress came from.) You know me, I go through stages of where I like to shop and ASOS has been a favorite to peruse through. Do you do that? I’m such a fair weathered shopper, no one place can keep my attention for too terribly long. (ok, well except Nordstrom. They get all my attention and money ;))

I usually dread January. I think because of 5 years in retail, January was always the slowest month. But this month has kind of flown by and with my lack of resolutions this year, it’s been pretty easy on me. This might be a new tradition I start; no year’s resolutions. Has a nice ring to it.

Fit Details

Sweater fits true to size for sure! I sized up in the skirt because well ASOS and for length, but it’s elastic waist so I don’t really think it’s necessary unless you want extra length. I’d say true to size!
