Hello! I’m back with a few outfits from the past week or so. I’m really glad I started this series last year — it’s been a fun way to keep up with my goal of getting dressed each day. Unless there is a day where there isn’t a selfie, then that day simply doesn’t count.
Good news! I think that I’m finally feeling settled in the new place, I’ve got all of my orders from the pre-loved shop shipped and I’m feeling like getting dressed. AKA new content is a-coming my friends.
I got my new nuuly in (see last month’s review here) and I’ve already pulled out a few pieces to wear last week. But I’m getting ahead of myself — let’s get to last week’s looks, presented in no particular order but the first one is my favorite:
Alex Mill Reversible Sherpa Jacket – M | Quince Sweater Tee – L | Everlane Jeans – 30 | DV Flats | Anine Bing Hat
So this jacket is from my nuuly rental and boy do I want to keep it. I’m highly considering it. However I did find it on sale over at Bloomingdales and that’s cheaper than me keeping this one from nuuly. Decisions, decisions. I thought I’d like the quilted part the best but honestly the sherpa gives me a new personality that I’m intrigued by. 10/10 would recommend dressing for the identity you wish you had.
I’ve also been wearing and wearing this pair of Everlane jeans. (The way high jeans are amazing!) Absolutely recommend this pair — they’re kind of a cross between a straight leg and a wide leg. Fit is TTS but it does take a wear to break them in. Find them here.
Quince Button Down | Reformation Leopard Pants | Adidas Gazelle | Quince Crossbody
Do you ever have an outfit on your Pinterest that you keep meaning to copy but you never do? It’s this one. I’ve had this one in the back of my mind for a MINUTE and the other day I reached into my closet to recreate this look and…no blue button down. Ahh that’s why I didn’t recreate it yet. So I placed an order from Quince because I’m super interested in testing basically everything from there (ordered bedding too!) and this is a high quality piece. It’s a thick poplin, soft but with structure. I am in the medium, fit is perfectly oversized but not too big. Find it under $50 here!
Oh and I know they’re so niche but my leopard pants are still in stock, if you were eyeing them. I know they’re very specific but I find them really versatile. I’ve always said leopard is a basic.
Pistola Sweater – M | Everlane Jeans – 30 | DV Shoes | Quince Crossbody
Another solid choice from nuuly is this sweater! Also on sale I found over here at Nordstrom. It runs true to size with an oversized fit. Side note, you’ll be seeing this crossbody a lot in these outfits and probably in the next few posts. I just got it from Quince and it’s supposed to be a nice dupe for the Clare V. Moyne Messenger. It’s not quite the same leather, but it’s a really nice option if you can’t get the Clare V. one. (The biggest difference from what I can tell is the Clare V. leather has a sheen to it, this one is matte.)
Similar Gap Sweatshirt / Similar Gap Sweatpants / New Balance 530 Sneakers / Similar Madewell Tote
Similar White Blouse | Similar Jeans (Quince) | Madewell Flats | Madewell Essential Tote
So as you know I’ve lost weight and nothing from the last few years fits. I’ve been wearing too big pants, jeans, etc lately and honestly I was hitting a wall feeling like my style was in the dumpster. No, it turns out I just wasn’t wearing the right fit or size. Since I’ve had this realization I’ve ordered some new jeans to try (this was my biggest point of contention in my closet) and I’m weeding through my tops as we speak. (everything I can’t wear any longer ends up here!) All that to say, this whole outfit is from at least 2021. Actually the jeans are closer to 2018/2019, as if you can’t tell lol. I mean these are some actual skinny jeans, none of that straight leg mess. (These are some of my favorites — the Agolde Nico, I believe but I can’t find them around much anymore!) This Reformation top has made the cut year after year because it’s one of my favorite tops and I was tickled pink when I discovered it fit again. I was headed out to a special lunch and needed something cute but casual and this was all that I could find that fit. And you know what? No complaints. Love the skinny jeans, love the top, love the ballet flats. Call me a millennial, but I’ll be team skinny jeans till I die.
BTW I’ve pulled a few blouses like this one below!
Quince Striped Cardigan | Frank and Eileen Murphy Pants | Schutz Mesh Flats | Madewell Tote
This is my I’m working from home but running errands later outfit. Comfortable, of course but still…these are basically leggings. My sweater is from Quince (I’m in the large for extra slouch) and I’m in the large of the pants, they run a bit small. Find them from Frank & Eileen here!
Side note: finally found some mesh shoes that aren’t *too* mesh / sheer.

Wow I love your outfit it is beautiful and perfect.
Nice outfits
Love your style! Fyi, Quince has been on my radar since last year and i too have been on a mission to try all their items, they’ve all been great so far! I wanted to mention (mostly for any readers looking to purchase) that the quince crossbody you linked to is the mini (i own that one), but the one in your outfits is actually the full-size one.
