Remember when I said in my try on that the selfies did this dress NO JUSTICE? Boy did I mean it. Look at it! This dress is gorgeous and those bad lit selfies just didn’t give it the love it deserves. Like it doesn’t even look the same! This dress has these gorgeous autumn hues of dark purple, browns and blues. I am obsessed with this whole look and dress. I wanna wear this everyday for the month of November. Also I couldn’t believe it when my purse + boots + belt matched perfectly to the dress, even though they don’t all match each other. You know that satisfying feeling you get when you buy a basket that fits exactly into the space you bought it for? That’s how I feel when my accessories match so effortlessly. I am flying high on my accessories matching right now you guys.
So this dress is (barely) under $100 at Nordstrom but I guess numerically this statement is true. (It’s $99, you see.) Of course they have free shipping too, so that’s nice. I am in the large and I’m torn on the sizing. Overall it fits like a large, even a bit generous for a large. However the length is right for me at 5’9″. For fit overall, I’d prefer a medium but length…it’s always a toss up with me. So for length, go up a size but overall it’s TTS with a generous fit. in the bodice and bust.

These are the boots I bought from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and I’m really glad I did. They’ve been a nice go to this fall and I bought them in wide calf so they’re a bit slouchy and roomy in here. They are TRULY wide calf which is so nice. (My calves are about 16″ so I’m always on the cusp on the normal boots and prefer a wide calf for the room it leaves.) They’re also really comfortable too, easy to wear so that’s nice. This pair has gone up to normal price but I’ll watch them for Black Friday, too. Boots are usually the first to get marked down! Find them from Nordstrom here.
