I was going for 90s model with this outfit and I’m going to tell myself I nailed it. Delusional? Maybe. But happily delusional. This skirt makes me feel so long and very tall, the slinky fabric falls so gorgeously too. I felt dressed up even though it’s just a tee and some sandals with it. I’m imagining it with a nice camisole too for a date night outfit (I’d pair it with black or a champagne color!). But even with just a tee shirt it felt very ‘everyday’ fancy for me.
I really want this skirt to come back in full stock because it is a gorgeous skirt. It has a bit of a wider silhouette to it which creates this gorgeous drape. It is currently in stock in the cream and a really pretty olive hue, as well. (I saw this one in person, the olive isn’t quite as bright as it shows in the images! I find Nordstroms photos shoot brighter than in real life.) I am in the large of the skirt, it runs loose especially at the hips / waist. The drawstring does help with sizing a bit, so if you want a looser fit overall you can go up a size. If not it’s a true to size fit for you. Find it here.
PS: this skirt from Madewell looks to be a similar fit! It’s not in the brown, but in a classic black and a gorgeous orangey-red. Fully stocked, too!
This tiny purse is probably pointless but I love her. During this shoot I realized I could wear her as a bracelet and that really changed things for me. A purse bracelet — groundbreaking. If you’re wondering what I can actually fit in here…it’s obviously limited. A phone, keys, my little wallet and some lipgloss. The essentials, I suppose, but yeah she’s tiny. You can find it on sale here!
It seems like a lot of items are selling fast at the NSALE. Are you tired of the sale coverage or do you like seeing what’s still in stock? If you’re a bit over the sale, I’m going to post some non-sale content this week as well, so hang tight 🙂
