We are slowly, slowly getting out these days. Texas, as a state, has basically opened up here so most things are running back to normal-ish. As normal as it will ever be, I suppose. And by “getting out” I mean we find a vacant sidewalk to take photos on again. It’s been really nice to shoot outside again but I also like shooting in and around our house and neighborhood. I like a lot of the changes we made this spring on the blog, but personally speaking, too. We found a different daily routine and schedule and truly broke a lot of our bad spending habits. Did you know that you can make your OWN margaritas and fajitas and sit on your OWN patio? I know. Big shocker here, too.

I think the hardest thing for me to get used to is wearing a mask to run errands in. What about you? Do you find it weird or is it a part of your normal routine now? I know this sounds random but I lose my senses a bit when I’m wearing a mask; I’m clumsier and distracted. And I get SO hot all the time — who knew that was a thing? The good news is my shopping trips are cut a lot shorter because I have a defined list and I’m trying to get in and out of there as fast as I can. The other good news is that if you don’t walk around Target aimlessly, you don’t find as many things to buy. But you know, there’s always online…

…which leads me to this shirt here. Chapter two of the post. Originally I wanted a shirt just like this from Anthro but I can’t find it now so you’re going to have to take my word for it. But you know it sold out really quickly and it was like well over $100 so I just accepted it wasn’t meant to be. Then I was looking for some things for a try-on for Target (much requested!) and this shirt called out to me. I snagged this lady up so fast! I love it — it’s dramatic, it’s loose fitting, it’s ambiguously hued. What more could a woman want in a top?

For real though — it says ‘brown’ online but it’s more of a dusty coral, if that’s even a thing. Anyways you can find this top TTS here!
