I lied: it’s hot again. Shorts weather hot. I know it doesn’t make sense I mean one day I’m wearing a sweater, the next I’m in shorts. I swear I’m going to catch a cold.
Do you know what I like about sunglasses? They hide your face just when you need them to. I mean sure they also block sun out and make you appear intimidating, but really I use them to hide the dark circles that blanket my sleepy eyes. After the Bloom party last night (thank you to all who came out! so.much.fun.) my face has a hang-over. No, my face didn’t get wasted it’s just so tired that no makeup wants to stay on today. Please tell me you know what I mean, right? Why is it that when you need makeup the most it just doesn’t want to stay on? I feel like I’ve put 3 layers of makeup on today: one for routine, one to cover the sleepy, and one to not scare small children. I think I’m down to just one layer now.
Small children beware: this is what staying up past your bedtime looks like.

The colors in this outfit are perfect together. I never would’ve thought about pairing coral with plum, but I love it! Also, I’m in full agreement regarding sunglasses. Sometimes my sleepy eyes just don’t need to be a thing for general public consumption.

I totally wanted to comment on your Pinterest post the other day, but my stupid iphone browser won’t except blogger. I too am addicted to pinterest. I almost lost myself when I saw a picture of my own baby on there from his infant pictures. I see you all the time on pinterest, but to see my own kid was freaky.
Uh yeah that would freak me out too! I’ve never really put too much thought to seeing myself on pinterest just because you know, it’s me in an outfit, whatever. I put it out there so it’s out there. But to see my kid! That would freak me out.

This reminds me of many conversations with my best friend regarding unspoken realities (i.e. hangover face). One of our gems regards accidently touching someone’s bare foot and you’re like “oh, errm, sorry”, whereas touching someone’s arm or whatever doesn’t warrant the same awkward feeling or apology. Does that make any sense at all?!?! Well anyway, let’s talk about hangover mouth. Even water tastes wierd.
I know hangover face all too well. and the older you get he worse it gets. so annoying. you look super cute despite your tired face :).

Not to mention I live in Arizona where EVERYONE wheres them pretty much year-round. I’ll be depending on you for sunglasses advice… So step one is wear them to cover up tired eyes eah? Noted 🙂
