You know my love for blazers, right? (Don’t make me create a slideshow of images of me wearing blazers set to music to remind you of this deep love, because I will.) So I was very excited to get to style this coral Academy Blazer from Gap for their Styld.By campaign. To me, blazers are one of the few wardrobe pieces that are easy to style and one of the quickest ways to look nice and polished. I decided a striped peplum was the best choice for this bright blazer and then of course my go-to skinny jeans. Because let’s be honest when is a striped peplum not a good choice?

That’s the fire coral? It looks more burnt orangey on the Gap website. It’s really pretty in your pics, though. Now I’m torn.
Love anything striped 🙂 Do you think it’s better to get a peplum that is a soft cotton (almost t-shirt like) material or a more strictured style (like the material of a button down)? I saw a cute soft cotton peplum this weekend but wasn’t sure if it would look as good if it wasn’t more structured (on me at least 🙂 ). Thoughts?
