Did I buy a dress because it looked like princess/duchess Kate’s engagement photo dress? Maybe. Did I name it ‘The Kate’ and only refer to it as her royal highness? Yes, yes I did.
In all seriousness, Kate was right. I did need a classic navy blue dress in my closet. Places I’ve worn it to so far? The theater with my mom, a wedding shower, and to work. It’s the one dress I have in my closet that I don’t have to question its appropriateness. That makes the rest of my dresses sound…well questionable, but I mean really how many wedding showers can you wear cat dresses to?
Also what is my obsession with navy and black lately? I can’t be stopped. (Exhibit A, B, C)

Yeah, I'm starting to think it was wayyyy less worse than the er made it out to be. I can straighten it if i've worn it in a sling most of the day, I just can't rotate it. But I've heard that from a lot of people, they didn't recover for weeks!
I *think* these were from we love colors. (http://www.welovecolors.com) They make really great tights that last for years. They are pretty thick and opaque. American Apparel also has some really nice ones that last as well! If you need some quick, I've had good luck with Gap tights as well.
