Do you ever get outfit crushes on strangers you see? I always like to keep my eyes open and especially when we travel I tend to find that one girl that I love to remember her outfit as inspiration later. A few weeks ago I was in Dallas and I saw a girl wearing the hell out of a suede jacket. I had my eye on one at Nordstrom since late last fall but never really pulled the trigger. I took this stranger’s polished style as confirmation to find a suede jacket. When I went to buy the jacket it was marked 50% off (another sign) and my size was the only one left — this was basically the hand writing on the wall here. I told my love for jackets lately right? Okay, just so you’re warned. (Also I hate telling you about a jacket that I bought on sale and then when I go to post it’s completely sold out. I did link a similar full price option and a similar under $150 option to the right. Sometimes sales just move too fast for me! Apparently I wasn’t the only one waiting on this jacket.)
Let’s talk dresses, specifically this dress. It’s no secret I love dresses, but this dress I’ve particularly loved lately. It’s in that great transition style — long sleeve but short, lightweight fabric but easy to layer. I wore this a few weeks ago when it was a bit cooler with black tights and a black moto jacket. And then last week with a denim jacket and mules. (See my shop girl selfie here!) It’s so versatile, which isn’t always true for dresses. But when a versatile dress comes along, it’s a keeper for sure. And when my love for jackets and dresses combine, it’s just a match made in heaven for me.

Killin it in this suede jacket and boho dress combo. Love how well the two colors compliment each other and I’m the same way, where I like to see what other girls are wearing and keep it as inspiration. I love that the dress is versatile too; black tights and boot in winter and bare legs and sandals in summer!
