We moved to McKinney, a suburb of North Dallas, 4 years ago this fall to open our first boutique. I think that is why I love fall in this city so much, it reminds me of our first season here. (Plus we all know what a fall fanatic I am.) In the morning, I love walking around our downtown square seeing what’s new in everyone’s windows and grabbing a coffee at my favorite coffee shop. It’s so quiet and perfect in the morning — as if the buildings and shops aren’t quite awake yet. At night, B and I tend to stay downtown to grab a happy hour or meet friends for dinner. The majority of what we do — work and play — is in this 4 block radius of downtown. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I’m in the medium here. It’s pretty loose fitting but I needed the length. I’d say it is true to size but very free people flowy. If you want more fitted, and don’t need the length, size down.

Love these boots (& your blog in general)! I’ve seen reviews that said these run small. I’m in TX too so won’t be wearing giant socks with them and am worried that if I get a bigger size they’ll be too loose. Did you have to size up?
