I woke up sick this morning which is fine I suppose because who really wanted to get back to work today? If my body wants me to stay in bed after the holidays for one more day, that is fine by me. But I was looking forward to getting back into the groove of everything. The holiday time warp happens every year, two weeks where I forget what day it is. And while it’s fun in the moment, I am always happy to start fresh in a new year. But my fresh start will have until at least tomorrow. Seems appropriate for this procrastinator.
For Christmas, I (very happily) received new Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots. My love for over the knee has obviously not dissipated this season. In fact, I’m just glad it’s starting to become cold here because it finally makes sense to wear boots up to my knees here. Of course I wear them even if they don’t make sense. Logic and fashion are distant relatives. Oh and for the record, you are supposed to tie the ties on these boots. But that little detail got past me for these photos. Tie as I say, not as I do. I also found an alternative pair under $150 from Steve Madden! See? My sick day was not wasted. If you need me, I’ll be on the internet and Netflix.
